He was predeceased by: his parents, Bonnie Maddox and Evelyn Maddox; his sister Rita Bennett; and his brother-in-law Stanley Pugh. He is survived by: his wife Nell Braswell Maddox; his children, April Kyle (Charles), Matt Maddox (Kindra) and Kim Langford (Bryon); his grandchildren, Jessika Kyle, Aaron Kyle, Kara Kyle, Connor Kyle, Austin Langford and Cahley Langford; his great grandchild Bradyn Kyle; his siblings, Ray Maddox (Cheryle), Sandra Wilson (Harry), Nancy Pugh, Ted Maddox (Janice), Mickey Maddox (Karen) and Jeff "Bo" Maddox (Becky); and his siblings-in-law, Billy Bennett, Shirley Stewart (Charles), Jim Braswell and Joe Braswell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
