With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Albert L. Stewart Jr. of Commerce, Georgia, born in Lebanon, Indiana, who passed away on October 14, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert L. Stewart, and Mary E. Copeland Stewart, Sr.; and his wife Joyce R. Muckus Stewart. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Stewart (Carol) of Commerce, Sandra VanAuken (Bill), Susan Gerry (Dan) and Cindy Watson (Drew); and his siblings, John Stewart (Nancy) and Shirley France (Steph). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

The family has respectfully asked that all flowers be omitted and donations made to Freedom Baptist Church, 20732 US-441 S, Commerce, GA 30529.
