He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Mele and Irma Mele; his wife Cindy Mele; and his siblings, Diana Mele, Frankie Mele and Bobby Mele.
He is survived by: his children, Jenny Herrick and Michael Mele (Tracie); his grandchildren, Taylor, Melissa, Michelle, Lynsie Mele, Kyla, Caleb and Collin Mullinax; and his siblings, Joseph Mele (Becky), Christina Mele, Theresa Mele and Mary Oberlander (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
