He is survived by: his wife Julie; his children, Laura Smith of Comer, Christina Smith, Patrick Bennett of Comer and David Glenn Smith; his grandchildren, Braylon Bennett, Victoria Bennett and Ryleigh Bennett; and his brothers, Johnny Steele, Michael Steele and Donald Leroy Smith.
