He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephus Ford and Bessie Mae Edward Ford; and his siblings, Joseph Ford, Lillie Mae Pitts, Wallace Ford, Edward Ford and Eugene Ford.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Ford Thomas (Bishop Michael) and Crystal L. Harris; and his grandchildren, Sarah Alexis Harris and John Wesley Harris III. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
