He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Albert Dozier and Josie Large Hall Dozier; and his siblings, Elinor Dozier Gibson, Dorothy Dozier Cheney and Joseph Sibley Dozier.

He is survived by : his friend Gary Tomlin; his wife Virginia Dozier of Columbus, GA; his sons, Steve Dozier (Cathy) of Columbus, GA and Bill Dozier (Emily) of Powder Springs, GA; and his grandchildren, Virginia Dozier of Columbus, GA, Aaron Dozier of Columbus, GA and Molly Szalma (Stephen) of Dallas, GA..

In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, facemasks and social distancing will be required during the services.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Epworth United Methodist Church 2400 Devonshire Drive Columbus, GA 31904 (epworthumc.com).
