He was predeceased by: his parents, William Tommy Hobbs and Jewel Harris Hobbs; his sisters, Laverne Muncey and Verlene Dean; and his son-in-law Cliff Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Hobbs; his children, Lynn Turner of Columbus, GA, Danny Hobbs of Columbus, GA and Leroy Hobbs (Teresa) of Hamilton, GA; his grandchildren, Matt Turner (Virginia), Nick Hobbs (Alexis), Luke Hobbs (Brooke), Michael Hobbs and Wynn Hobbs (Mattie); and his great grandchildren, Kylie, Emilee, Isla, Brendan and Niko. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vance Brooks Funeral Home - Columbus (4048 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Vance Brooks Funeral Home (4048 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907). A burial was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at the Parkhill Cemetery (4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
