He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Hilton Eugene Smith and Cathryn Daniels Smith. He is survived by: his son Asa Hilton Smith; and his brother Gene Smith, Jr.. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Wynnbrook Baptist Church (500 River Knoll Way, Columbus, GA 31904).
