He was predeceased by: his parents, York Stokes and Frances Stokes; his former wife Maria Stokes; and his brothers, Mark Stokes, Anthony Stokes, Cedric Stokes and Steve Stokes.
He is survived by: his wife Birgit Stokes; his children, Micheal J. Stokes, Frances Edwards (Jeremiah) and Annie Davidson; his sisters, Deborah Stokes and Teresa Walker; and his grandchildren, Alexis Jordan, Christian Truitt, Ryan Edwards, Eva Edwards and Gabriel Stokes. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
