He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Justus and Pearl Fowler (Fuller); his wife Rachel Lonita (Brown); and his siblings, Freeman, Fred, Millard, Amos, William "Bill", Harry, Jack and Alice.

He is survived by: his children, Gregory Fowler (Mary) and Gwendolyn Fowler-Setayesh (Javad); his grandchildren, Beajan "BJ", Brandon, Chloē, Maggie and Sage; and his great grandchildren, Kaleb, Zack, Carson, Bryce, Zayn and Maverick.
