With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sherry Corona of Columbus, Georgia, born in Sanford, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nick McDougald and Jewell McDougald; her husband Joe; and her brother Mike McDougald. She is survived by: her siblings, Nickie O'Quinn of Apex and Ronnie; her sisters-in-law, Sharon McDougald of Michigan and Velma McDougald of Apex; her daughter Debbie; her son-in-law Alan Coggins of Sanford; her son John; her daughter-in-law Pam Corona of Columbus, Georgia; her son Joe; and her daughter-in-law Jill Corona of Portland, Oregon.. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory (3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907).
