She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Elias Haywood and Irene Martin Haywood; and her siblings, Alice Haywood of Virginia, Margaret Haywood, Barbara Sharpe, Irene Holland, Augusta Ethington, Jane Grogan and Walter Haywood.

She is survived by: her husband Charles Michael Evert; her children, Connie Evert of Philadelphia, Kathy France (Art) of Columbus, Barbara Evert (Kevin Jones) of Pleasant View, Janice Pacheco (Marco) of Albuquerque and Charles Michael Evert, Jr. (Angi) of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Mary Katherine Carpenter (Andy), Rebecca Mitchell (Eric), Emily Evert, Georgia O'Donoghue (Brendan), Maggie Jones (Spencer) and Nicholas Jones; her siblings-in-law, Jerry Evert (Aud) and Colette Evert; and her friend Monica Pierce (Keith). She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
