With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Daniel Spano Sr. of Columbus, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2024 at the age of 77. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Deborah Boswell Spano; his children, Robert Daniel Spano Jr. and Kimberly Spano Schilke; his grandsons, Owen Paul and Aidan James Schilke; and his siblings, Richard, Michael Spano, Kenneth, Mary Bice, Joy Boswell and Kathene Williams.
