He is survived by: his sons, Robert Emory Edwards, Jr. of Columbus, GA and Shawn Michael Edwards of Columbus, GA; and his grandson Brendan Carl Edwards. He is also survived by two sisters, one brother, six nephews, nine cousins, and a host of friends.
