With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Renate L. Cole of Columbus, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 17, 2024 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Renate L. Cole to pay them a last tribute.
Though Renate may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Renate touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerda Herfert Guhl and Albert Guhl; and her husband Irie Cole. She is survived by: her children, Debra Bryson (Timothy), Jim Revis (Jan) and Sheila Mills; and her friend Barbara Milam. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Parkhill Cemetery (4061 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
