It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rafael Figueroa (Columbus, Georgia), who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Jesus Maria Figueroa of Vieques; and his sister Luz Mercedes Figueroa. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Barentine Pike (Figueroa Rodriguez); his mother Rose Rodriguez Figueroa of Guayama; his children, Gabriela Figueroa, Damien Cox, Ethan Cox and Conner Haney; his grandson Walker Cox; and his sisters, Rosa M. Figueroa Rodriguez (Jose Torres), Teressa R. Figueroa Rodriguez (Eugenio R.), Patricia M. Figueroa and Mabel R. Figueroa. He is also survived by father and grandfather whose pride in his family.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Elmo Room of Striffler Hamby Mortuary (4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907). A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Fort Mitchell National Cemetery (553 AL-165, Fort Mitchell, AL 36856).
