She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Brown and Rosa Brown; and her siblings, George Alston, Samuel Duncan, Alfred Lance and Melissa Lance McDowell.
She is survived by: her children, Ricardo Lance, Marquette Brockington (Shelynn), Mario Brockington (Erica), Renaldo Lance, Angel Lance and Fernando Lance; her grandchildren, Te'Nasha Brown, Aziyah Brown, Ricardo Lance, Jr., Jayla Gray, Marcel Brockington, Michelle Brockington, Mario Brockington, Jr., Kamora Ingram and Saia Lance; her great grandchild Avielle Fitzpatrick; her brother Raymond Lance (Cheryl) of Jacksonville, FL; and her brother-in-law Paul McDowell, Jr. of Goldsboro, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other extended family, and friends.
She spent time volunteering with the American Cancer Society driving patients to their doctors appointments.
