As Patsy departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Patsy. Though Patsy may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Jimmy Downs and Randolph Averett; and her brother Downs Scott. She is survived by: her children, Perry Downs (Teri) of Phoenix City, AL and Felecia Eiland (Ben) of Columbus, GA; and her siblings, Marshall Scott of Byron, GA and Judy Cottrell (Archie Spires) of Columbus. She is also survived by four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pine Level Cemetery (273 Hayes Rd, Mauk, GA 31058). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Paws Humane Society, 4900 Milgen Rd, Columbus, GA 31907.
