She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Robinson and Jazie Brewer Robinson; her significant other John Mallory Washington, Sr.; her son John Malloy "Flip" Washington, Jr.; and her siblings, Calvin Robinson, Jr., Clara B. Williams and Ruby L. Robinson.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Myya Washington and Kahari J. Kendrick; and her brother Willie A. Robinson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
