She was predeceased by : her husband Burnie Clifford Woods. She is survived by : her sons, Charles Michael Woods (Rachel) and Steven Douglas Woods (Sara); her grandchildren, Christina Woods, Taylor Woods (Laura), Kyle Sawtelle (Eddie), Zackrey Woods (Jennifer), Jeremy Woods and Nicholas Woods; her great grandchildren, Charlotte Peyton Sawtelle, Trip Sawtelle, Elanor Woods and Thomas Woods; and her siblings, Ray Hite (Anna Faye), Amy Rose Drafts (late Julius), Patty Ruff (late Richard) and Jimmy Hite (late Mildred). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Edgewood Hall (4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
