Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Michael touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Leonard and Carrie Swanger (Hobbs); his wife Peggy Swanger; and his siblings, Joanne Anthony (Jim), Nancy Yates, Patricia "Pat" Roth, Belinda Baxley, Pam Holland, Valarie Downard and Quinton Stephens.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel (613 14th St, Phenix City, AL 36867). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Parkhill Cemetery (4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
