Though Mattie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bobby Thomas and Willie Mae Richardson Thomas.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Progressive Funeral Home (4235 St. Mary's Road, Columbus, GA 31907). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Central Baptist Church (Ellerslie, GA 31807). A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at the Green Acres Cemetery (1485 Schatulga Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
