She is survived by: her son Joe Lester Stephens; her siblings, Rose Marie Walker, Georgia Ann Atkins, Etta Mae Dandy and Luther Jackson; her nieces, Darlene Newsome and Bessie Shakespeare; her daughters, Sherri L. Allen and Veronica Walker Laney; her sister Ella Griffin; and her grandchildren, Shelisha Hood (John), Charles Bryant (Michelle), Chomwell Bryant, Lisa Stephens, NaShawn Harris, Quinzavies Walker, An'tevies Walker, Jacob Laney and Joselyn Laney. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
