Marie K. Singleton Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie K. Singleton (Columbus, Georgia), who passed away on September 23, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Marie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Evans and J. Kindred; her husband Fred Singleton; and her stepfather William Porter, Sr.. She is survived by: her son Alton B. Norman of Warner Robins, GA; her brothers, George Pearce of Chicago, IL and William Porter, Jr. of Columbus, GA; and her grandsons, Corey Norman (Adrianna) and Chad Dempsey (Jerrica). She is also survived by great grands, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
