She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Jensen and Clara Pralle Jensen; her husband Leroy Pettis; her daughter Sondra M. Allen; and her siblings, Evelyn Johnson, Harry Lee and Earl Jensen.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael L. Pettis (Patty Pettis) and Dr. Ronald J. Pettis (Diane Sutter); and her siblings, Bud Jensen, Laura Christensen, Lois Muhlenbruck and Elaine Plagge. She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory (3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at the Parkhill Cemetery (4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
In lieu of flowers the family welcomes donations to Columbus Hospice, Striplin Terrace Methodist Church, or Gentian Baptist Church.
