He was predeceased by: his mother Frances B. Sanders; and his sister Erica Sanders. He is survived by: his father Lonnie Sanders, Sr.; his wife Katrina Sanders; his children, Igypt Sanders, Emery Williams and Donavan "DJ" Sanders; his brother Johnny Sanders of Columbus, GA; his uncle Charlie Ray Fuller of Salem, AL; his great-aunts, Ulma Gene Coleman of Columbus, GA, Ollie Sanders of Columbus, GA and Christine Starling of Columbus, GA; and his great-uncle Charlie Lee Sanders of Columbus, GA. He is also survived by three nieces and nine nephews; a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Old Cemetery (4577 US-80, Phenix City, AL 36870).
