She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Willie Lee Thomas and Elizabeth Allen; her brother James Thomas; her children, Sandra Vaughn (Terrance), Derrick Thomas, Bernard Lane and Lemill Lane; her grandchildren, Tianna Williams, Alexus Vaughn, Adreanna Vaughn, Trinity Vaughn, Za'Aquarious Brookins and Derrick Thomas, Jr; her siblings, Annie Thomas (Eugene), Gladys Lane (Darrell), Freddie Thomas and Alonzo Thomas; her uncle Clayton Walton (Betty); and her sisters, Betty Slaughter and Gwinette Green Martin. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
