It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Nell Gilbert of Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on September 23, 2024, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Melvin Gilbert; her sister Jennifer Wilson; her nephew Wilson Gilbert; and her grandparents, Herman, Edna Gilbert, Louis and Henrietta Howard.

She is survived by: her mother Vicki Gilbert of Columbus; her siblings, Katie Gilbert (JoJo Harris) of Lanett, AL, Holly Douglas (Brandon Hollis) of Nashville, TN and Patt Gilbert (Joni) of Columbus, GA.; her sons, Jayden and Dravin Barnes of Iron City, GA.; her cousins, Leita, Gary Prewitt, Donna, Bob Pentecost, Dennis Howard, Steve Howard, Sophia Douglas, Paisley Harris, Rachel Carroll (Jonathan), Katherine Carroll, Sarah Wilgenbusch (Thomas), Riley Gilbert (Marcus Miller), Donovon Harris, Joey Harris, Easton Gilbert (Ashley), Lyndsey Massengale (Hughes), Kaysen Gilbert, Cristy, Grace Hiller and Additionally; and also, Korbin and Karter. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
