It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Nell Gilbert of Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on September 23, 2024, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Laura Nell Gilbert to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father Melvin Gilbert; her sister Jennifer Wilson; her nephew Wilson Gilbert; and her grandparents, Herman, Edna Gilbert, Louis and Henrietta Howard.
She is survived by: her mother Vicki Gilbert of Columbus; her siblings, Katie Gilbert (JoJo Harris) of Lanett, AL, Holly Douglas (Brandon Hollis) of Nashville, TN and Patt Gilbert (Joni) of Columbus, GA.; her sons, Jayden and Dravin Barnes of Iron City, GA.; her cousins, Leita, Gary Prewitt, Donna, Bob Pentecost, Dennis Howard, Steve Howard, Sophia Douglas, Paisley Harris, Rachel Carroll (Jonathan), Katherine Carroll, Sarah Wilgenbusch (Thomas), Riley Gilbert (Marcus Miller), Donovon Harris, Joey Harris, Easton Gilbert (Ashley), Lyndsey Massengale (Hughes), Kaysen Gilbert, Cristy, Grace Hiller and Additionally; and also, Korbin and Karter. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hilton Terrace Baptist Church (2236 Warm Springs Rd, Columbus, GA 31904). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
