He is survived by: his wife Jane Legrand McCants of Columbus; his children, Montae Walker, Lanett, Larkin Jakobi McCants (Kim) of LaGrange and Kayla Elizabeth McKenzie (Toronto) of Columbus; his stepsons, Justin Hill and Joshua Adams of Phenix City; his daughter-in-law Dr. Latesha Walker of Columbus; his grandchild Aubrey Rose McCants; his siblings, Trent McCants (Chureka) of Valley, Opelika of Valley, Eric McCants (Tyronza Thornton) of Valley, Terry McCants of Valley, Edward Shealy of Valley and Priscilla Hutchinson (Micheal); and his aunts and uncles, Linda Sue Kimbrough, Alice Berg (Ross), Barbara Weaver of Tampa, Linda Weaver, Christine Weaver of Columbus, Mack Weaver of New York, NY, David Weaver and Kelvin Weaver of Columbus.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the M. W. Lee Mortuary (1304 E 10th St, West Point, GA 31833). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Rehoboth Baptist Church (205 Huguley Rd, Valley, AL 36854).
