She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mathis and Rosemary Mathis; her siblings, Rosemary White and Jack Mathis; her pet Gizmo; and her husband John.
She is survived by: her siblings, William Mathis of Parlin, NJ, Butch Mathis (Barbara) of Stamford, CT, James Mathis (Peggy) of Buena Vista, GA and Betty Lounsbury (John) of Torrington, CT.; her stepsons, Scott and Joseph Banta; and her caregiver Gloria King. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to an animal rescue or humane society of your choice in honor of Kathaleen's deep love for animals.
