She was predeceased by: her parents, Ovie Elmer Batchelor and Catherine Vonceil Thompson Batchelor; her brother J. W. Batchelor; and her sister-in-law Mary Taylor Batchelor. She is survived by: her husband Tom H. Dalton, Jr.; her children, Sherri Dunnavant, April Dunnavant Diehl and Jonathan Dalton; her grandchildren, William Sams (Kayleigh), Skylar Whittle (Dalton) and Silas Diehl; her great grandchildren, Robert Sams, Thomas Sams and Westley Whittle; her niece Caren Batchelor Goodson (Terry); her nephew Joel Batchelor (Donna); her great-niece Haley Barefoot (Stetson); her great-nephews, Brett Goodson, Jacob Batchelor and Zachary Batchelor; and also Mary Jo Barefoot.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holman Funeral Home Chapel (995 S Union Ave, Ozark, AL 36360). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
