Josephine Runion Obituary

We bid farewell to Josephine Runion of Columbus, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 29, 2024 at the age of 89. Josephine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Domingo Cruz and Margaret De La Cruz. She is survived by: her husband Lynwood C. Runion; her sons, Lynwood Runion, III and David Runion; her sister Carlotta Pettitt; her daughters, Sharon Zebreski of Phenix City, AL and Carol Vinyard (Mark) of Ladona, AL; and her grandchildren, Christina Nowlin (Brandon), Daniel Haden (Elizabeth), Jessie Haden and Damon Runion. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren.
