Joseph Luther Waldrep Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Luther Waldrep of Columbus, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 21, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Jackson and Virginia Lucrete Almon Waldrep; and his siblings, Betty Sue Waldrep and Perry Render Waldrep. He is survived by: his wife Dena Mitchell Waldrep; his children, Morgan Perry Waldrep (Jodi), Malvern Joseph Waldrep (Katie), Amy Waldrep Sheffield (Ryan) and Callie Brooks Gatewood; his grandchildren, Frank Waldrep, Charles Waldrep, Carolina Sheffield, Mal Waldrep, Gigi Waldrep, Rollins Sheffield and Lola Waldrep; and the mother of his children Nancy Waldrep.

Flowers will be accepted, those so desiring can make contributions in memory of Joe Waldrep to St. Paul United Methodist Church, Clemson University or Duke University School of Law.
