He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie L. Nunn and Ethel Gilliam. He is survived by: his brothers, Cleveland Newsome and Harold Newsome; his uncles, John Canty and Willie Harris; his brother Nathan Coleman (Carolyn); and his cousins, Diane Hensley and Barbara Caban.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sconiers Funeral Home (836 5th Ave, Columbus, GA 31901). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Baptist Church (4577 US-80, Phenix City, AL 36870).
