It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Andrew Manning Sr. of Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on July 21, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry E. Manning, Sr. and Ada Mae Taylor Maughon; his wife Joyce Elizabeth Outlaw Manning; and his brother Harry E. "Butch" Manning, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, John Andrew Manning, Jr. of Phenix City, AL and Michele Danese Maltbey of Columbus, GA; his sisters-in-law, Diane Outlaw and Diane Haywood; his granddaughters, Sirena Maltbey and Rune Ward (John); his great grandchildren, Damian Gibson and Estella Ward; and his friends, Charles, Sherry Shaw, Teresa Pena, Liz and Don Schuck. He is also survived by loving family members and many caring friends.
