She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark Monroe Dykes (Pete) and Helen Stembridge Dykes; and her husband Michael N. Herndon. She is survived by: her sister Marcia D. Burrus (Philip H. Burrus III) of Tryon, NC; and her nephews, Philip H. Burrus IV and Christopher D. Burrus.
