It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jana Gene Capan of Columbus, Georgia, born in Fort Benning, Georgia, who passed away on July 9, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gary Chapman and Laura Elizabeth Gantt Chapman; her brother Ronnie Wright; and her grandson Jensen Lee Brown. She is survived by: her husband Tim Capan of Columbus, GA; her daughter Alexa Capan-Brown (Aaron) of Bossier City, LA; her sisters, Terri Lightmas (Frank) of Atlanta, GA, Candi Poore of Danielsville, GA and Penni Cook of Vinings, GA; and her grandchildren, Grayson Capan, Korbyn Rickerson and Jameson Brown.
