He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jackson Osment, Sr. and Martha William Moore Osment of Opelika, AL. He is survived by: his brother Andrew Jackson Osment (Margaret); his wife Mirtha Mercedes Osment; his children, James A. Osment (Mary Jo), Susan Osment Potter (Tim) and Melanie Osment Jimmerson (Stewart); his grandchildren, Kendall Jimmerson, Neil Jimmerson, Katherine Jimmerson and Will Potter; and his great grandchildren, Ryan Watkins, Kylie Jimmerson and Autumn Potter.
