He was predeceased by: his parents, Gloria Johnson Cummings and James Edwin Cummings, Sr.; his significant other Jane Hester Cummings; his brother Stevie Cummings; and his siblings-in-law, Phil Strickland, Hugh Callaway, Bobby Ledford and Peggy Ledford.
He is survived by: his children, Abbie Stallcup (Scott), Sara Carver (Casey) and Katie Russell (Gil); his grandchildren, Leighton Stallcup, Remi Stallcup, Stone Stallcup, Case Carver and Jack Carver; his siblings, Sandra Cummings Charlton (Rick), Melinda Cummings Strickland and David Cummings; and his sisters-in-law, Patty Callaway and Gail Cummings. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to MidTown, Inc. on Wildwood Avenue or favorite charity.
