He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Roscoe Weldon and Essie Hudson Weldon; and his siblings, Willie Rufus Weldon, Horace Weldon, Nathaniel Weldon, Lillian Weldon and Eldrich Weldon.

He is survived by: his children, Huling Weldon, Jr., Delonius Weldon (Sherry), Courtney Whitaker (Andre), Vickey Tellis, Elizabeth and LaVarna Weldon; and his sister Lyra Weldon Caulton.
