With solemn reverence, we commemorate Holly Wait of Columbus, Georgia, whose life came to an end on February 19, 2025 at the age of 64, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Holly shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Holly farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Beasley and Wilma Beasley; her husband John Wait; her brother William "Bill" Beasley (Dolores) of Clearwater, FL; and her stepchildren, John Matthew Wait (Veronica Huerta) of Los Angeles, CA and Elizabeth Wait of Richmond, VA.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the National Civil War Naval Museum (1002 Victory Dr, Columbus, GA 31901). Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home and Crematory (130 Screven Ave, Waycross, GA 31501). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
