She was predeceased by: her parents, Donie Piett Jones and Isaiah Coleman; her husband Matthew Sumbry; her daughter Lisa Denise Jones; and her granddaughter Tacresha Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Leroy Jones (Gwen), Willie Jones of Columbus Georgia, Jerry Jones (Veronder) of Fayetteville Georgia, Mildred Jones, Barbara Jackson (Elmore), Dorothy Bell, Matilda Crocker of Columbus Georgia and Marie James (Larry); and her brother Tommie Johnson (Fifteen) of Columbus Georgia.
