He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Chesser and Richard Chesser. He is survived by: his family Glynn; his wife Ginger; his children, Merrie Albrecht (Jimbo), Steve Chesser (Supriya), Holly Kelley (Randall), Lorrie Chesser and Andrew Chesser (Brittany); his grandchildren, Jon Weddington, Jimmy Albrecht (Kristen), Matthew Hima, James Chesser, Glynn Chesser, Olivia Hima and Madelynn Chesser; his great grandchildren, Carly Weddington, Ethan Weddington and Peter Albrecht; and his sister Nell Seeney of Folkston. He is also survived by in-laws, cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary (4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Social Circle City Cemetery.
