He is survived by: his son Christopher Benard Carter of Belmont, SC; his brother Willie James Carter of Phenix City, AL; his grandsons, Elijah of Belmont and Isiah Carter of Belmont; and his siblings-in-law, Otis Bellamy of Phenix City, Emma Davis, Rosie Morgan (Tommy) of Phenix City, Betty Bellamy of Seale, AL and Elizabeth Bellamy of Hatchechubee. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
