Weathers of Columbus, Georgia; his pet Scratch; his stepchildren, Trey Weathers of Smiths, Leslee Clark of Phenix City and Thomas Cagle (Elana) of Georgetown, Georgia; and his sisters, Diana Johnson (Randy) of Liberty and Deborah Stull of Resaca, Georgia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary (4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
