She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy D. (Jerrie Kate Pope Davis) and Donna; her grandparents, Leroy Greene, Ava Cora Davis, Gilford M. and Minnie Pearl Pope; and her daughter Donna Deniece Greene Dunn.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis; her sons, Jerry Allen Barnette Jr. (Trish) and Dennis R. Greene Jr. (Gayla); her grandchildren, Jessica (Eric), Matthew, Ashlee (Dalton), Rebecca (Kevin), Summer, Clay, Christopher, Harley, Jayley and Mitchell; her great grandchildren, Alana, Gavin, Cooper, Justin, Wyatt, Tyler, Harper, Aiden, Conner, Rylee and Landon; her uncle Dan Pope; and her aunts, Janet Childs, Linda Pope and Shelby Pope. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rose Hill Church of Christ (7479 Old Moon Rd, Columbus, GA 31909). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Her contributions to her family, friends, and community continue to leave a lasting legacy.
