He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmira McBride and Izel McBride; and his father-in-law Dennis Hill. He is survived by: his wife Debra D. McBride; his stepchildren, Roy Smith (Rena), Selena Wells (Curtis Sr.) and Dwayne Smith; his siblings, Carollynn Everson (John), Donna Quiller, Mark McBride (Melissa) and Timothy McBride (Lillie); his siblings-in-law, Bobby Finley, Herman Franklin Jr., Yolanda Franklin Rivers (Kenneth) and Sherry Franklin; his mother-in-law Ruby Hill; his great grandchild Jakai; and his close friends, Dwight Jefferson, Terry Noel and Floyd Marchell.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Whinery - Huddleston Funeral Service (6210 NW Cache Rd, Lawton, OK 73505). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service (6210 NW Cache Rd, Lawton, OK 73505). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Fort Sill National Cemetery (2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd, Elgin, OK 73538).
