She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis McKelvey, Sr. and Phyllis Reid McKelvey; and her sister Shirley McKelvey. She is survived by: her daughters, Tawana McKelvey, Tashia McKelvey and Tanqerius McKelvey; her siblings, Curtis McKelvey, Jr., Michael Brown, Geneva McKelvey, Diane Brown, Michelle McKelvey and Crystal Jene Stokes (Bruce); and her close friend Don Johnston. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
