In the vast expanse of eternity, Deacon Benjamin shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Harris and Elizabeth Golston Harris. He is survived by: his wife Katie Mae Richardson Harris; his sons, Benjamin Harris II, Barry Harris (Patricia), Kenneth Harris, Sr. and Kalvin Harris (Monica); and his stepdaughter Kimberly Frazier (Willie).
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Progressive Funeral Home (4235 St. Mary's Road, Columbus, GA 31907). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fourth Street Baptist Church (222 5th St, Columbus, GA 31901).
