With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Daniel L. Culpepper Sr. of Columbus, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Daniel left this world on January 15, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie W. Culpepper and Mattie Lee Cates Culpepper; his wife Flora Bone Culpepper; and his brothers, Donnie Culpepper and Wendell Culpepper.

He is survived by: his son Daniel L. Culpepper, Jr. (Debra Woodruff) of Columbus, GA; his granddaughters, Carli D. Culpepper, Chelsea B. Culpepper, Christina Mayben and Hannah Herring; his brothers, Lavon Culpepper of Columbus, GA and Thomas Culpepper of Splendora, TX; and his great grandchildren, Joseph Culpepper and Ravi Culpepper.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory (3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Edgewood Baptist Church, 3564 Forrest Rd, Columbus, GA 31907.

“Daniel was such a nice man. He had such a lovely, dry wit. Cliff and I always enjoyed being around both he and Flora. They were both generous and hospitable. My favorite memory was his side-by-side TVs where he was able to monitor two ballgames at the same time. Way before picture-in-picture was a thing. We know he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.”
